Puppies are welcome at Twizted Tailz Dog Grooming as soon as they have had all of their vaccinations. It is best to get them used to grooming early to build confidence in the process.
Grooming can be scary and stressful for dogs that haven't been introduced to the process from an early age.
In order to start your pups on the right track I offer a free of charge puppy intro which is a short appointment focused on introducing your pup to the sights and sounds of the salon and the tools used to eventually complete their groom.
The appointment will last around 20 mins so as not to overwhelm your puppy all at once and includes lots of treats, cuddles and positive reinforcement.
It is then recommended to book the next appointment shortly after which would be a bath and tidy, from £28.00 (depending on the size of your pup) You can book as many of these bath and tidy appointments to build confidence until your pup is ready for their first full haircut.
