Twizted Tailz Dog Grooming reserves the right to charge the full amount of the missed appointment or an appointment that is cancelled with less than 48 hours notice.
Appointments missed or cancelled without notice could have been offered to another customer that day, and if no notice is given we are unable to fill that slot.
Re-booking of

Badly matted coats can be painful to brush out and Twizted Tailz Dog Grooming will always shave off heavy matting to ensure the groom is as painfree as possible.
Removing a heavily matted coat carries risks of nicks, cuts or abrasions to the skin, it can also bring to light skin conditions that were previously hidden below the matted coat

Dogs can show signs of skin redness, irritation and behavioral changes following a matted shave down.
A consent form will be provided for you to sign acknowledging these risks prior to service.

Grooming procedures can sometimes be stressful, especially for senior pets or a dog with health conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure your pet is fit for grooming and to advise Twizted Tailz Dog Grooming of any health issues that your dog may be suffering with, before the groom commences.
If it is deemed necessary veterinary treatment will be sought for your pet at the owners expense.
Aggressive or Dangerous Dogs

You must advise Twizted Tailz Dog Grooming of any behavioral issues that your dog may have, and if they are a bite risk. If your dog is likely to bite, please provide their own muzzle when dropping them off. If your dog becomes aggressive during the groom a muzzle will be used if one is available in the correct size and style for your dog

Grooming equipment is very sharp, please be assured that extreme caution and care in all situations is used but sometimes, accidents do happen.

We make every effort to ensure your pet is groomed as safely as possible, but if your pet does not accept the process it can be dangerous to continue the groom. Should an accident occur Twizted Tailz Dog Grooming uses Leucillin spray, which is most powerful, non-toxic, non-irritant antiseptic available for animals and we also use Trimmex powder to clot blood on any accidental quick cuts to the nail.

Twizted Tailz Dog Grooming strives to be a flea and tick free salon. If your pet has a flea or tick infestation, we will ask that you reschedule your appointment once the dog has been treated and the problem is under control.
If fleas are found on your dog your dog will be bathed in a flea shampoo at an additional charge of £20. This is

If fleas are found on your dog your dog will be bathed in a flea shampoo at an additional charge of £20. This is because once your dog has been collected the salon will need to be flea bombed, causing any appointments that were booked in after your dog, to be rescheduled to avoid cross contamination.
